Last Deepavali (5th Nov 10) was Angel Playschool & Daycare 6th annual year end concert and it was Wawa's 1st ever concert. We are being told for the concert months before and bought 2 tickets for that. Few months before the concert, I know the playschool already started for the preparation as everytime I pick Wawa from the playschool, he will tell me how or what he dance today with his exciting expression. It's such a joy to see him that way. And I know he enjoy all those dancing because he just loooove music and dance. =)

So on that day, we are told to send Wawa to playschool before 8am as they need to change costume and make up. Yes, MAKE UP. I was wondering how Wawa looked with make up before the concert, hehe. Then we parents are told to be at the Palace Hotel by 10.30am sharp. Arrived there, concert just begin, and at the entrance, we're given a handmade keychain with Wawa's name on it, a copy of the concert schedule.

Went in the concert hall, the front seats are already full. So I decided to just stand as it would be easier for me to take pictures of Wawa when it's his turn. There are many classes in Angel Playschool, Sting Ray, Jelly Fish, Clown Fish, Octopus, Gold Fish, Tuna Group and Wawa is in Jelly Fish Class.

I dont quite remember the order for the classes that performed, but all the kids are just so adorable in their costume and make up. I was looking at the schedule and there is pictures of the kids in costume taken before the concert. So I look at the picture and only then know Wawa was in Jelly Fish class. Look at the schedule, Wawa's class was next. I stand near the stage at the side and peek into the side stage, then I saw Wawa! He saw me too and was waving and smiling to me. Yes, he doesnt shy or afraid at all! =)

When it's his turn, I quickly went to the front and find a nice spot to take a closer look to him. His first performace was Pirate. And he is wearing the Pirate hat, and boy look at him, he was wearing make up with blush and blue eye shadow! Haha, he look so cute! Before the song starts and the class teacher - Dollie was arranging the kids to their respective place. Then when the song starts, my boy dance right away to their music. Honestly, the first song wasn't that energetic, BUT I'm proud with my boy who able to dance and remember all the moves. And after the song ends and the kids walk slowly back to the back stage, Wawa still can wave and smile to me. I'm not sure if every mother feels the same, but the moment I saw him dance and how well he behave on stage, I was so touched and tears started to fill in my eyes, and I try hard not to drop it. Haha, what can I say, I'm sure is a proud mama!

And then, audience are entertained with other classes performace. I was pretty impressed with what the playschool had make for the concert. I sure see a lot of effort and hardwork. And if you ask me, I definitely had no regrets for signing up Wawa in there as I see him enjoy himself more than at any other playschool or daycare he went before this.

So when it's wawa 2nd performance, I took the spot right in front the stage in the middle, between the seats. When I saw Wawa, he was turning around and looking for me, and even call me. So I call him and waving showing him where I am. He smile right he saw I'm in front of the stage. His 2nd performance was much energetic and the costume is very cute too - polka dots in orange.

After that, there are finale performance by group age 3 and 4, where all classes perform together. I particularly love the finale dance of wawa's age. Cause there is 1 song makes me laugh when I saw him dance. Haha!

After the all performance, it's makan time. Buffet lunch was served, there are steam rice, roasted chicken, mix veges, prawns, tofu, corn soup, salads and desserts. Not bad. And kids are all given a gift packs with some snack, sanitiser hand gel sample and colouring books. Well, I'm quite satiesfied with the concert cause I think during my time, it wasn't this happening. And I'm so looking forward with next year's concert since it's Wawa last year in the playschool.

So thanks to all teachers and helpers of Angel Playschool for making the concert a success, sure a lot of effort and hard work they put in to make this. I look forward for next year's concert.
